European Oak is native throughout the UK and Europe.

Maple timber is creamy white in colour when first felled. This ages to a light tan when more mature. It is used extensively for furniture and joinery work. Maple can also be chemically treated to produce a silver-grey colour, this is often used as a veneer.
The Scandinavian Pine, also referred to as 'redwood' to differentiate it from 'whitewood' such as Spruce, is imported from Sweden, Finland and Russia.
